Adding and Editing Videos

From the Videos tab in the main menu, you can view, add and edit videos on demand (VODs). 

In the View Videos tab, you can view all of your videos at a glance. Here you can see additional information on each video including, titles, associated events and sessions, access and the cover image.

Adding VODs 

To add videos, go to Videos > Add Videos. From here you will add your videos and any general information including a title, description, cover image, categories, and access.

General

From the General sub-menu, you can create a title and description, select the access type and add the video link to your video. Additionally, here you can add a cover image and select the events and sessions associated with your VOD. 

What are the different types of Access?

Access for your video allows you to control who can view your video. These include the following options: Inherit, Public, Registered Users, and Admin Only. 

  • Inherit: retains the privacy setting from the original platform (i.e., YouTube or Vimeo) where the video was uploaded.
  • Public: visible to all visitors on your event site, regardless of whether they have paid for access.
  • Registered Users: accessible only to users who have registered on your site.
  • Admin Only: restricted to administrative users; only they can view this content.

Linking VODs to Events & Sessions

By selecting sessions and events, your VOD will automatically be linked to their respective pages. This connection also adds tags to the video, making it easy for viewers to see related events and sessions.

Attaching Timestamps to Sessions

When linking a session to your VOD, you have the option to add a timestamp. This feature allows your video to sync with the session timeline, so it will automatically display when the session reaches the specified time.

Associations

From the Associations sub-menu, you can link both Presenters and Sponsors to your VODs. This will display your video within the associated Sponsor and Presenter pages.
