User Manager
When adding user accounts, each user is assigned a user role or account type. These account types offer a select kind of access and permissions to the site, whether internal or external.
For details on how to add new users, continue on reading this article or go here.
Note: It is important to consider each user’s access to the website when assigning roles.
User Roles & Access
See a description of account access for each User Role below:
- Manager: This role has access to all events and can edit any content. Managers can also add and remove user accounts.
- Editor: This role has the same permissions as a Manager but does not have access to payment details or the ability to add and remove user accounts.
- Exhibitor: This role allows the user access to the website. They can also edit their Exhibitor page and view any sessions they are connected to.
- Presenters: They can have their own page, view upcoming sessions, and enter access sessions assigned to them or paid for.
- Attendant: This is a client role that provides full access to the site, can check people in, and prints badges. This role does not have access to edit the site or see any backend data
- Customer: Customers will have full access to their dashboard and will be able to view free content or paid content.
